Now for the details.  Mark your calendar for the weekend of July 10, 11 & 12th.  Majority ruled and we ARE on the same format as before.  Here we go....

• Scene I - Golf Tournament - this is set for Friday morning at Heritage Hills.  Tee time is 7:00am.  Deadline for money and registration is June 1st.  More information...


• Scene II - Mixer - Friday night at Pitchers, located in the Marriott Hotel, 10800 Metcalf Avenue, O.P., KS 66210 (913) 451-8000.  Curtain rises at 7:00 p.m. with entertainment by Karaoke volunteers. Final curtain closes at 1:00 a.m.  Good time to be had by all!

• Scene III - THE MAIN EVENT - The reason we're all here!  Curtain rises at 7:30 p.m at the Marriott Hotel.  Rekindle old friendships, catch up on the latest gossip, brag about your accomplishments or lie if you don't have any (and does anyone really care), and show off pictures of the offspring (two legged or four legged acceptable).  Or just sit and enjoy the music of our era.  Plans are for a DJ to spin the tunes of our era.  We'll play some games and wait til you see the prizes you could win!  By the way, be thinking of all those favorite school memories, fantasies, secret crushes, etc.  You may get your chance to reveal them tonight!  There will be hors d'ouveres and a cash bar available. Dress to be comfortable, formals are not required, just keep in mind that pictures will be taken for the yearbook supplement.  Final curtain for the evening is 12:30 a.m. 

• Scene IV - The Finale.  Rating - "PG".  You showed us the pictures, now it's time to put your money where your mouth is!  Grab your significant other, the kids, and most importantly - a pot luck dish, and head to the park.  Shawnee Mission Park.  If you can, bring any blankets, lawn chairs, etc.  Seating will be limited.  Also, we've arranged some activities for the little ones, and a softball and volleyball challenge has been made for us big kids.  If you need directions, are you sure you went to school with us?  For those of you who need a refresher - it's 79th & Renner Road, Walnut Grove Shelter.  We'll provide the dogs and drinks, you provide the chips, side dishes and desserts.  This is a family event, JCPRD allows no alcohol on the premises.  Curtain's up at  12:30. 


• P.S.  Theatre in the park will be presenting 42nd Street at 8:00 that evening, if you care to stick around.
